When to Seek Emergency Care

Contact us immediately if your pet is experiencing any of the following:

• Difficulty breathing or choking
• Severe bleeding or trauma
• Collapse or unconsciousness
• Suspected poisoning
• Seizures or convulsions
• Eye injuries
• Heatstroke
• Inability to urinate (especially in male cats)
• Severe vomiting or diarrhea
• Labour difficulties

Out-of-Hours Arrangements

Our clinic hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.

What to Do Before Traveling to the Clinic

If your pet requires emergency care, follow these guidelines:

• Stay calm – Your pet will sense your anxiety
• Call ahead – Let us know you're coming so we can prepare
• Keep your pet warm – Use a blanket, especially if they're in shock
• Do not feed your pet – They may require surgery or anaesthesia
• Handle with care – Injured pets may bite or scratch due to pain
• Transport safely – Use a secure carrier or have someone help you
• Bring any relevant information – Including medications, suspected toxins, or recent medical history

First Aid Tips

For Bleeding

Apply firm, direct pressure with a clean cloth. Do not remove the cloth if it becomes soaked; instead, add more layers on top.

For Suspected Poisoning

Do not induce vomiting unless instructed by a vet. Bring the substance or packaging with you if possible.

For Heatstroke

Move your pet to a cool area, apply cool (not cold) water to their body, and contact us immediately.
